Since taking her place on the State Board of Education, Pam Little has earned her reputation as a results maker in Austin, delivering on priorities to make Texas education better for every student in the Lone Star State.
Running for a second term, Pam knows that the work of improving education in Texas is nowhere near complete. She has multiple priorities she plans tackle in her second term, including:
Raising reading and math scores.
Educating our children to be responsible, patriotic and productive citizens.
Adding new career and technology courses to Texas schools to give Texas students more paths to success inside and outside of the classroom.
Revising assessment to be more equitable of our population.
Revamping the high stakes testing to a diagnostic approach to better measure academic progress.
